BEAVER, Robert E. "Bob" age 90 of Troy, formerly of Covington, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Caldwell House in Troy. Robert was born in Piqua on July 4, 1923 to the late Frank & Estella (Clingan) Beaver; was a Houston High School graduate; Co-owner of Beaver-Heilman Ford; a farmer; a member of the Covington Church of the Brethren; a member of the Covington Kiwanis; a member of the Covington Bucc Boosters; & a member of the Covington Chamber of Commerce. Preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 67 years, Jean A. (Taylor) Beaver, just 5 months ago; 4 brothers, John, Frank, Walter & Lester Beaver; & 3 sisters, Rosella Fair, Laura Davidson, & Erma Dill. Robert is survived by son & daughter-in-law, Mark & Cheryl Beaver of Troy; daughter & son-in-law, Sherri & Larry Ganger of Troy; six grandchildren, Jeffrey & Lori Ganger of GA, Jamie & Renee Ganger of Troy, Jeremy Ganger & fiancee, Becky Mills of Troy, Joe & Alison Ganger of GA, Megan & Ryan Noll of Troy, Erin & Brandon Coate of West Milton; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Lois & Max Heilman of Covington; & other relatives and friends. Funeral service 2 pm Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Yingst officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
