Cathy L. Nevin Bertram, 47, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at 2 a.m. at home, as a result of an accidental house fire.

Born July 13, 1957 in Miami County, Ohio, she lived in Tarentum for the past 20 years.

She was a graduate of Kiski Area High School and currently was a student nurse at Allegheny Valley Hospital, where she was a nurse's aide for more than 10 years.

Mrs. Bertram was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Natrona Heights. She enjoyed walking her dog, church activities, and camping at Roaring Run Resort, Seven Springs.

Survivors include a daughter, April L. (Robert) Carson of West Deer; her mother, Evelyn L. Pierce Nevin of Apollo; sisters Sandra (David) Nale of Apollo and Cynthia (Michael) Hunchar of Cheswick; and a brother, Philip Nevin of Apollo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Bertram and her son, Eric R. Bertram, who both passed away in the same accidental house fire; and by her father, Gene P. Nevin.

Relatives and friends will be received Thurs., Feb. 24, from 2-4 to 7-9 p.m. in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, Tarentum.

Services will be conducted in Grace United Methodist Church, Fri., Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. by her pastor, Rev. Richard H. Nulph. Everyone please meet at the church.

Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar.
