A rosary will be recited this evening May 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Teresa de Avila Catholic Church.
Berg died May 6 in Albuquerque. She was born March 6, 1941 in Taos. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a member of the St. Teresa de Avila Catholic Church.
Survivors include John Medina of Grants; daughters, Theresa Berg of Raton, Dorothy Lopez, Geraldine Chavez both of Bloomfield; sons, Michael Berg, Steven Berg both of Grants; sisters, Nattie Trujillo, Celeste Vigil, Joann Padilla all of Raton, Gloria Martinez of Colo.; brothers, Raymond Vigil, Pat Vigil both of Raton; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and pet Tootsie.
Berg was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Berg; parents, Leopoldo and Mela Vigil; brothers, Leo Vigil and Conrad Apodaca.
Pallbearers will be Larry Berg, Matthew Berg, Alex Lopez, Edward Chavez and Jonathan Rodarte.
