John Galloway was the son of William and Sophia Cox Galloway and the husband of Mary Ann Mouser Galloway. He served as a Pvt in the 20 Ark Infantry, CSA. Born in Tennessee he was the grandson of Marshall Galloway, who served in the Virginia militia during the American Revolution.
