Betsy Anne Cole, age 67, a life-long resident of Stoneham, died at her home Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, following a lengthy illness. Born in Stoneham, she was the daughter of Dana E. and Edith (Abbott) Batchelder. Betsy was a graduate of Stoneham High School, class of 1956.
She was the beloved wife of the late Howard E. Cole, Jr. She is survived by her five loving daughters, three sisters, six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dana Batchelder, Janice Nelson and Nancy Fossey.
Funeral services are from the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Thursday, Sept. 11 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Interment in Lindenwood Cemetery.
