Double Services Set For Couple Killed By Crash
Double funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Cozad, Neb., Mehodist Church for Ellis Clarence Long, 70, and his wife, Helen Gilmore Long, 66, involved last Tuesday in a car truck collision at Seneca and McCormick.
She died three hours after the crash and he died Thursday evening in St. Francis Hospital. Two other persons received minor injuries. the couple was visting in Wichita.
Mr. Long was born October 24, 1890, at Independence, Va. She was born December 21, 1894, at Shelby, Neb.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Olive Knoedler, Cozad, Mrs. Louise Lynes, Burley, Idaho, and Mrs. Betty Crosman, Murray, Utah; a son Allen Ray, Cozad; and 14 grandchildren.
