Bonnie Jean England Hunter

Our sweet angel of service Bonnie Jean England Hunter passed away April 6, 2014. She is having a happy and much anticipated and glorious reunion with her sweetheart George and her parents John Elmer and Evelyn England. Bonnie was born in Tooele, Utah in October of 1928 and was the fourth of eight children. She graduated from Tooele High School and married George A. Hunter in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mom had a wonderful childhood growing up in Tooele on their family farm, with her Mother and Father teaching her how to work hard. Mom was the ultimate caregiver who put the needs of others before her own and she was a nurturer to all her children and grandchildren. She could make a meal out of nothing, at the spur of the moment, and everyone was welcome to sit at her table. She loved the Savior and showed that love through years of church service. She served a mission with George at the Hawaii Temple Visitor Center and she especially enjoyed her years serving as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple. Her unassuming acts of love and kindness will always be a great example to those of us she left behind.

Bonnie is survived by her six children, Ronald (Elouise) Hunter, Karen (Larry) Miles, Gary (Karen) Hunter, Beverly (Mike) Stevens, Marlene (Dixon) Hamilton, Gloria (Mike) Keeling and 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren that she was so very proud of. She is also survived by her 6 sisters and 1 brother; Mary Wollam, Martha Betty Tonelli, Helen L Whitlock, Maxine (Gene) Falkenrath, Alice Harvey, Marjorie Garrard, and Leo (Joanne) England.

Our family would like to thank the wonderful people at Cottage Glen, Rocky Mountain Care, and Residence Care Source for the loving care they have given our Mom.

Funeral Services will be held at the Tooele Stake Center, 253 South 200 East, Tooele, Utah on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11:00 am with a viewing prior from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment will be at the Tooele Cemetery. We love you Mom.
