He was born July 21, 1921 in Ard Ridge, Ky., son of the late Terrell and Othia Burton Ard.
He was a retired Corporal in the United States Army and served during World War II.
He is survived by three sons, Wade Ard, Ward Ard and Williard Ard; two daughters, Jennifer Bryan and Connie Carusone; one brother, Robert Terrell Ard; three sisters, Bernice Gregory, Lois Parro and Mavis Wesley; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Ard; one son, William Terrell Ard and one brother, Garvel Ard.
There was a graveside service on Monday, October 12 at 2 p.m. at Crestlawn Cemetery. Johnson's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.johnsonsfuneralhome.com
