Louise Ringwald was born August 4, 1910 in Manchester, Red River County, Texas, daughter of Robert H. Ringwald and Gertie (Enox) Ringwald. She attended schools there and, later, a beauty school in Dallas, TX. She was a member of the state beauticians association.
On November 25, 1935, she married Charlie G. Moore. On November 7, 1958, Charlie preceded her in death.
Around June 1963, Louise took an apartment in Dallas, TX, in order to look after property interests in that area. She had formerly been a beauty operator in Paris and maintained her Paris residence. By this time, her family included 3 grandchildren.
On Friday, December 6, 1963, Louise (Ringwald) Moore, age 53 of 604 E. Price St., Paris, TX, died about 2 p.m. enroute from a Cooper, TX, hospital to Dallas for emergency surgery after injuries sustained in a car collision. On the previous day, Thursday, December 5, as she was coming from Dallas to Paris at about 9:30 pm, Louise suffered extensive injuries when her car and a transport truck collided just west of Cooper, Delta County, TX. She was taken to Janes Hospital in Cooper, and the following day, died shortly after the ambulance left Cooper for Dallas.
The funeral was held in Paris on Monday, Dec. 9, at 11 am in Fry & Gibbs Funeral chapel by the Rev. L.B. Reavis of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of First Baptist Church in Paris, where Mrs. Moore was a member. Interment was made in Meadowbrook Gardens, Section F-323-02, 3 miles SE of Paris, Lamar County, Texas.
