On August 28, 1961, in Folkston, Georgia, Juanita married Edward Allen and they celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Juanita worked her entire life until retiring from Magnetek in Goodland in 1998.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her children. Juanita loved attending high school reunions and athletic events, playing bingo and cards, watching NASCAR and the Indianapolis Colts.
Surviving with her loving husband Ed are three children, Eddie (Michele) Allen, Jr., of Monon, Ind., Steven (Robin) Allen of Wolcott, Ind., and Sheila (Ed) Mitchell of Remington, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Evelyn Garvin of Bradenton, Florida and Lois Walters of Indianapolis, Ind. She was preceded in death by her parents.
