She was born December 29, 1876 in Lexington county, and had lived in West Columbia since 1917. Mrs. Porter was a member of Mount Tabor Lutheran church, at which funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday. The Rev. J. B. Cassell and Chaplain J. W. Oxner of Fort Jackson will conduct the rites and interment will be in Elmwood cemetery. Surviving are a son, Vernon R. Porter of West Columbia, a daughter, Mrs. F. H. Lucas, Jr., of Hartsville; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Ricard of Lake Murray and Mrs. Mattie Caughman of near Leesville; two brothers, Rufus Addy of Cayce and J. E. Addy of West Columbia; and a granddaughter, Sandra Jean Lucas of Hartsville.
