Graduated from the New York College of Dentistry on 13 March 1894. He had an office in Haverstraw, NY in 1900. He was married to Edna Terwilliger on 12 April 1907 in Manhattan.

Dentist for 50 Years
Ernest W. Nickerson, D. D. S., of West Nyack, died Saturday at the age of 90. Dr. Nickerson, born in Kingston, came to West Nyack at the age of 14 and graduated from the New York College of Dentistry at the age of 20.
After practicing in Spring Valley and Haverstraw, the dentist established a practice in Manhattan, lasting 50 years. He was a member of the Clarkstown Reformed Church and the Stony Point Lodge No. 313 of F. and A. M. of Haverstraw.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Doris Morris of West Nyack and two grandchildren.
His Masonic Lodge is to conduct services at the Higgins Funeral Home, Main Street, Nanuet, tomorrow at 8.p.m. and the Rev. John Hart is to officiate at the final services on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack.
