Daisy was the daughter of Rev. David Anderson Dryden and his wife. They were Methodist missionaries who traveled a lot to preach the word of God. Daisy became ill at the age of 10 and did not seem to be recovering as the Doctor had hoped for. During her last days alive, she claimed to have been visited by angels, including her brother "Allie" who had passed just seven months earlier from scarlet fever. Although many believed her visions of the "other side" may have been from delirium, many of the things she said made sense to her family and forever changed their outlook on death and the afterlife. After Daisy passed, her mother wrote a book about their experience entitled, "Daisy Dryden, A Memoir"- She is buried in the unendowed section of the cemetery with her sister and brother who preceded her in death. -- Bio by J'aime Rubio, Author
