John Cromer, 83, Dies At Dillsburg

Dillsburg, June 21. - John Cromer, retired farmer, died at 5:30 o'clock this afternoon at his home here, after an illness of a year, of a complication of diseases. He was 83 years old.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Cromer; five children, Mrs. W.O. Harbold, Dillsburg R.D.; George, Carlisle R.D.; John W., Dayton, O.; Mrs. Lewis Frederick, Dillsburg, and Miss Mary Cromer, Carlisle; two sisters, Mrs. Alvin Shue, Jefferson and Mrs. Elizabeth Howe, York. He also leaves 17 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was a member of the Franklin Reformed congregation.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the late home, with Rev. J.C. Kaup, Reformed pastor, and Rev. Harold March, United Brethren pastor, in charge. Burial will be made in Dillsburg cemetery (sic). Funeral Director G.K. Cocklin, this place, is in charge of arrangements.
