Note: Lucinda's father, Samuel, had been married to Lovisa Spelman until she passed in 1797. They had 1 known son together: Samuel Spelman Underwood. After Lovisa's passing, Samuel married Lucinda's mother on November 28, 1799 in Becket, Massachusetts. They would be together until Jemima's passing in 1850 ~
Lucinda married Daniel Gorton in Ypsilanti, Michigan on January 17, 1830. They had 7 known children together: Alvira, Almira, David, Mary, Eleanor, Alzina and Daniel. The growing family would later move and Lucinda's husband, Daniel, would be the Township Treasurer and Inspector of Schools ~
Lucinda's husband would pass in April of 1873 while they were living in Waltrousville, Michigan. It is assumed that, after his passing, Lucinda moved to Tuscola to be close to other family and passed away while living there in April of 1883, at the age of 72 ~
