SCHMIDT, Florence Passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Leisureworld Nursing Home, Elmira, at the age of 90. Loving mother of Gordon (Janet) Schmidt, Ken (Aline) Schmidt, and Marlene (Keith) Snook. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Rebecca, Tim (Jennifer), Leanne, Bob (Lorrie) and Joe (Barbara). Step grandmother of Annette and April. Great-grand-mother of Madison, Keegan, Daniel and MacKenzie. Dear sister of Arthur, Helen, Clayton, Gladys, Edward, and Ruby. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Hilda Hackbart, stepmother, Caroline Hackbart and siblings Fred, Walter, Vera, Mildred, and Wilfred. At Florence's request, cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Florence's life will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 317 Franklin St. North, Kitchener, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
