Mrs. Lila Mary Swint Myers, 83, of Appling, formerly of Washington, passed away March 27, 2014 in Lake Crossing Nursing Facility. A native of Sandersville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Ebb and Mattie Laura Franks Swint. After working as a seamstress for many years, Mrs. Myers began keeping the books for Myers Truck Parts. She was a Cub Scout Leader and taught Sunday School for several years at Rehoboth Baptist Church, where she was a member. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Myers, and siblings, Mattie Swint, Carrie Brown, Elizabeth Swint, Bertha Swint, Cline Swint, E.J. Swint, C.T. Swint and Chandler Swint.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 30th at 3:00pm in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dan Fernandez officiating. Jeremiah Savage, Larry Norman, Jr., Sean Norman, Jimmy Wheatley, Bernie Henderson and Lawrence Mayo will serve as pallbearers.

Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Mary J. and Joe Powell, of Lincolnton; two sons and daughters in law, Billy I. and Pat Adams, of Columbia, SC and Ed and Cynthia Myers, Jr. of Plumas Lake, California; five grandchildren, Brandi Dozier, Larry Norman, Jr., Renee Norman Savage, Robert Sean Norman and Lisa Adams; seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
