Mojave resident Marie Davis Dead at age 62

Nancy Marie Davis, 62 year-old resident of East Kern County for 50 years, passed away on August 3rd after a short illness in a Glendale hospital.
She was born June 6, 1906 in Los Angeles and came as a young girl with her family to Rosamond in 1918. Mrs. Davis had lived in Mojave far the past 12 years.
She is survived by her husband Jess, Mojave; .one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Faires; two sons, Robert L. Loomis and Thomas R. Loomis; a brother George McNamee Sr, and 10 grandchildren, all residents of Rosamond. .
Services were held in Mumaw Chapel, Lancaster an August 6th at 1:00 p.m. with interment in a Lancaster Cemetery.
