DUNNELLON -- Edwin E. Goethe, 88, owner and partner of Goethe Lumber Co. of Dunnellon, died July 9, 1991, at Marion Community Hospital.
A native of Varnville, S.C., Mr. Goethe was a resident of Dunnellon since 1944. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War I. He was Methodist.
Survivors include a brother, James T. Goethe, Dunnellon.
Remains were sent to Varnville, S.C. Hiers Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
