OBITUARY:

Bob was born to Len and Mary Daniels in Bakersfield where he lived all his life. He attended local schools and at the age of 17 enlisted and proudly served in the US NAVY during WWII.

On June 5, 1949 he married the love of his life Marian Evans and began a family. Bob worked for 35 years at PG&E in the Gas Department where he retired in 1991. Fortunately Marian and Bob got to do some traveling which they both enjoyed. The one thing Bob enjoyed the most was his family. What we can't put into words is how much love is shared with the whole family. The void that is left with his passing will never be filled, he was the best.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Leon, Beverly, Burnette, daughter Brenda and Grandson Chris.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Marian, brother Claude of Oklahoma and children Scott (Linda), Leo (Cathy), Bruce (Andrea), Bobby (Nancy), Robin (Mal), his nephew Rick (Zeina) whom he raised after his sisters passing, 10 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice for their great care.

Viewing will be from 9:00-11:00 Thursday morning March 20, 2014. Graveside
