Funeral for Harry Clifford Hamnett, 6426 N.E. 22d avenue, who died Saturday in a local hospital, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Little Chapel of the Chimes. Interment will be at Riverview cemetery.
Mr. Hamnett was born January 2, 1893, in Newberg. He had lived in Portland 48 years and was owner of the Michigan grocery, 832 N. Killingsworth street.
He was a veteran of World War I, a member of American Legion post No. 1, the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen local No. 143 and Patton Central Methodist church.
Survivors include the widow and two nieces, Mrs. Harland Moy and Mrs. Frank Elieff, all of Portland.
