Son of Albert F. and Mable Kirby.
Corporal Kirby served with the 330th Combat Crew Training Squadron from Biggs Field, near El Paso, Texas.
He was one of nine airmen killed when RB-24E Liberator #42-64398 crashed, five miles southeast of the airfield.
