He was a member of Canalou Baptist Church and was a special effects assistant at Wonder Works Theme Park in Kansas City, Mo. Ben was an avid musician and played with various bands, including Falcon Drive of Sikeston.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Liam Blaylock; sister, Stacy Angus; step sister, Mychele Sloan; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Blaylock; and paternal great grandmother, Ida Mae Bowles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gorman and Jean Hartlein and paternal grandmother, Bernice Western.
