LIME SPRINGS SUN, LIME SPRINGS, IOWA, FRIDAY, JANUARY 1, 1897.-
TREASURER
The most trusted position of the town is that of Treasurer, and H. B. Adams, the efficient pharmacist at Love Bros. drug store, has the honor of holding this office. He was elected March 3, 1896, and has given entire satisfaction. Mr. Adams was born at Hampton, Ill., Mch. 29, 1872. His early education was at Hampton, at which place he attended the public school until 15 years of age, when he engaged as an apprentice in the drug store of Atkinson & Adams, at Mason City. After serving a full term of apprenticeship he attended the Northwestern University, and was registered as Registered Pharmacist, by examination in Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota. In April, 1893, Mr. Adams came to Lime Springs and entered the employ of Love Bros.; one year later he went to Spring Valley, Minn., and engaged with B. W. Huntley, druggist of that place, but on the 28th of May 1895, he returned again to Lime Springs, and assumed his old position at Love Bros. drug store, and has remained in this position until the present time, but we understand he has resigned his position and will go to Mason City where he will engage in business for himself. One year ago, on the seventh day of August, Mr. Adams was married to Miss Rena L. Farrar of this city. Mr. Adams has a membership with Valley Lodge No. 61, K. of P., Spring Valley, Minn., and is also a member of Cottonwood Camp No. 238 M. W. A., Lime Springs.
