Harvey L. Williams, 84, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away Aug. 7, 2000, at the Silver Wood Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Silverton.
He was born in Weir, Kansas, to John and Florence (Anderson) Williams. He attended area schools.
He moved to Silver Valley in 1950 from Independence, Mo. He was a miner and had worked at various mines in the Silver Valley.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Survivors include a son, Michael Williams; two daughters, Kathy and Terry Williams; three sisters, Hazel Baker of Ponca City, Okla., Crystal Andrews of Wichita, Ks., and Evelyn Haywood of Veradale, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Roland, Harry and Earl Williams.
