Funeral services for Glenn Allan Brinson Jr., of West Monroe, were at 2 p.m. today at the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church with the Revs. Raymond Howe and James T. Horton officiating.

Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn's Funeral home of West Monroe.

The Brinson youth died Monday at Confederate Memorial Hospital of Shreveport from injuries sustained in a July 9 swimming accident at Swayze Natatorium in Forsythe Park. The youth remained in a coma from the time of the accident. He was a student at West Monroe High School.

Survivors in addition to his parents, one sister, Miss Terri Brinson of West Monroe; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Whitlock of Monroe; paternal grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Sam E. Brinson Sr. of Rayville.

Pallbearers will be Keith Edgington, Tony Williams, Victor Wilbanks, John Sullivan, Denny Feasel, Boyd Colvin, Mike Epps and Melvin Clanton.
