He is survived by one son, Ricky Arant of California; Three daughters, Brenda of Coloma, Mich., and Sandy and Janie Arant, both of Benton Harbor, Mich.; Two brothers, Muriel Arant of Bragg City and Billy Ray Arant of Benton Harbor; Two sisters, Mrs. Verna Popki and Mrs. Retha Snow both of Benton Harbor; His step-mother, Mrs. Ollie Mae Smith of Benton Harbor; and six grandchildren.
Services were Dec 17 at Wardell Pentecostal Church, the Rev Charles Avants officiating, with burial in Wardell Memorial Cemetery, Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell in charge.
Pallbearers were Paul Armstrong, Jerry Miller, Richard Lawson, William Ashley, Harold Miller Jr. and James Sims.
