Graveside services for Grace P. Bolick of Portland, 89, an Asotin native who taught school in Portland for 40 years, will be held at 10:30 today at the Asotin Cemetery. The Rev. Robert L. Compton of the Orchards Community Church will officiate.
Miss Bolick died Thursday at the Willamette Methodist Nursing Home at Portland.
She retired from teaching in the 1950s. She helped found the Unity Church in Portland and was a member of the National Association of Retired Teachers. She never married.
Miss Bolick was born Feb. 25, 1892, at Asotin, to Eli and Elvina Bolick. She grew up at Asotin and graduated from Washington State University at Pullman. She began teaching at Portland after graduation.
Survivors include a sister, Jeanette Gillis of Spokane; and a brother, Russell C. Bolick of Hot Springs, Mont.
Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
