Death Takes Mrs. Sexton;
III Short Time
Catherine J. Douglas Sexton, 47, wife of Mason F. Sexton, 102 Clinton PL, died early this morning in her home after a brief illness. Mrs. Sexton was born in Utica Apr. 3O, 1903, daughter of Kathleen McGrath Douglas and the late Dr. Fred J. Douglas. She attended Utica schools, Mt. St. VincenCollege,
New York, Knox School, Cooperstown and Wellesley College. On Oct. 10, 1926, she was married to Mr. Sexton.
Mrs. Sexton was a member of St. Francis do Sales Church, the American Association of University Women, the Welleeley Club, St. Elizabeth Hospital
Guild, and Genetaska Club.
Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Sexton leaves two children, Mason Douglas Sexton and Catherine Jean Sexton, both of this city; two brothers, Dr. James G. Douglas, Utica, and Fred J. Douglas, Cleveland, and a niece.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a. m. Thursday from the home and at 10 a. m, from St. Francis de Sales
Church, where a requiem high Mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
