My great aunt, my uncle Juicy's wife.

Aunt Rita was the wife of Julius E. Scaramucci, who passed in 1987. They were married Oct.5, 1946 in Ambler, Pennsylvania and raised two daughters; Rita Ann & Debora.

Aunt Rita was grandmother to Gina, Stephen, Nicole, Andrew, Tammy, James, Heather, Laura, Megan & Matthew.

At the time of her passing, Aunt Rita was great grandmother to 8 children.

She will be deeply missed

Rita Scaramucci
Rita V. Scaramucci, age 79, of Lansdale died Monday at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Norristown.
She had been failing in health. Born in Glenside, she was the daughter of the late George and Nikolina Pier Rocchino. She had lived in Lansdale since 1951 and was formerly from Ambler and Norristown. Mrs. Scaramucci had worked in quality control at Philco-Ford in Lansdale and Blue Bell during the 1950s and '60s.

Her beloved husband Julius E. Scaramucci died in 1987.

Mrs. Scaramucci was an active devoted member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale, where she was a CCD teacher for special needs children, served as a Eucharistic Minister and lector, sung in the Funeral Choir, belonged to the Legion of Mary, Altar and Rosary Society, Perpetual Adoration and the Blessed Sacrament Prayer Group. She was also a member of the St. Stan's Senior Club, St. Stan's Mother's Club, landings and RCIA and every year was responsible for organizing and coordinating the annual Women's Retreat at the Dominican House in Elkins Park.
Surviving are two daughters: Rita Ann Clerico and her husband Michael of Norristown and Debora Scaramucci of Trooper; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 49 nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Rose Nicolino and her husband Lawrence of Quakertown and Jean Donato and her husband Edmund of North Wales. She was preceded by six brothers: James, Frank, Joseph, Dominic, Anthony and Thomas Rocchino and three sisters: Angelina Bocchino, Victoria Catagano and Marie Oliveri.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Saturday Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, East Main St. and Lansdale Ave., Lansdale where the family will receive friends from 9 to 10:45 a.m.. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton.
For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rita's name to St. Stanislaus Church (for the Parish Center), 51 Lansdale, PA 19446 would be preferred.
