ASTIN "sic AUSTON " PAUL SAMPSON
Astin Paul Sampson, 43, of Orma, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1994, at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born in Calhoun County, a son of Mary E. Lambert Sampson of Massillon, Ohio, and the late
George Sampson. He was employed by Ronald Lane Pipeline Construction Co., Arnoldsburg. Surviving
in addition to his mother are his wife, Janetta Cummings Sampson; one stepdaughter, Lynn Hicks of
Orma; two stepsons, Michael Hicks of Millstone and Timothy Hicks of Orma; four sisters, Carol Majors of
Elyria, Ohio, Margaret McClain and Jean Sampson, both of Massillon, and Lois Fink of Canton; and one
stepgrandaughter.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services were held by Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Glendon McKee officiating. Burial
was in Orma United Methodist Church Cemetery.
