Brice Edington Parker, 82 of Dayton, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired wildlife officer for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, U.S. Naval veteran of the Korean War and member of the Dayton Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, March 10 at Dayton Church of Christ with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 1 – 3 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Freda Parker; sons, Eddie Lee Parker and step-son Kevin D. Jones both of Dayton; one step daughter, Melanie L. Jones of Dayton; grandchildren, Josh Parker, Emerald Baker, Karly Jones, Katy Jones, Leslie Cameron and Jennifer House and great grandchildren, John Clay Parker, Christian Shelton, Parker Shelton, Lucas House, Gracee House, Tyson House, Myla Blockburger and Daxon Blockburger.

Pallbearers will be employees of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Moore, Larry Wagoner, Brownie McBride, Ray Parker, Joe Parker, Josh Parker, Larry Drake and Randy Drake.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dayton Community Building in care of Allied Bank in Mansfield.
