Martha Leona Niko, 87, of West Easton, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 in New Eastwood Care Center. Born: July 13, 1926 in Valley City, IL, she was a daughter of the late Leo Robert and Eva Myrtle (Ham) Shaw. Personal: She and her husband, Louis Niko were married 66 years. During WWII she worked in an airplane factory and the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Memberships: She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nazareth. Survivors: Husband, Louis; two daughters, Sharon Niko of West Easton and LuAnne Niko of West Easton; a sister, Vera Gomez of San Diego; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Lee Thomas Shaw and William Monroe Shaw died earlier. Services were 10:30 am Friday, March 7, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rose Inn Ave., Nazareth.
