Ahmann, Alice

Alice Frances Ahmann was born on September 4, 1927 in Stearns County, Minnesota the daughter of Aloysius and Anna Ahmann. She attended country school through the 8th grade in Stearns and Douglas County.

Alice worked for Osterbergs Café and later was employed by Bethany Home. She also was a volunteer at Bethany once she retired.

She enjoyed time with her friend Howard Bjerk and going for walks throughout Alexandria.

Alice died on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Bethany Home.

She her sister, Virginia Schultz of Alexandria; brothers: Sylvester of Prescott, WI, Alcuin of Scandia, MN; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Delphine and Florence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Steve Binsfeld officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria, Minnesota.
