Obituary: ZARTH, Walter W., age 81, passed away May 13, 1994, in Lancaster. Mr. Zarth was a native of Minnesota and a resident of the Antelope Valley for 24 years. He is survived by his wife Bethel of Quartz Hill; two children, David Zarth of Texas and Carolyn Berry of California; three stepchildren Joe, Ardath and Boyd Jackson; two sisters and one brother; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Leona Valley. Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. following visitation. Interment will be at Lancaster District Cemetery. Murphy Mortuary Chapel

The services were officiated by Bishop Robert Rokita with Judy Tufts as organist and Carnette Rischar as Chorister. Opening Song was "How Great thou Art". The Eulogy was by Carol Berry his daughter. Jim Garner and Terry Robinson spoke on "I Remember Walter". A Special Musical Number by Barbara Rokita "In the Garden" with the Closing Remarks by Bishop Robert Rokita and the Closing Song was "God Be With You Til We Met Again"
It was a beautiful service.
