Larry Edward Thatcher, 72, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday at his home.
Mr. Thatcher, a native of Martinsburg, was the son of the late Edward Newton "Newt" Thatcher and Mary Dorothea Hughes Thatcher. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Marie and a brother, Wink Price. He was a member of the Thatcher's Dairy Family. He was a member of the Tuscarora Presbyterian Church.
Larry is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Karen Taylor Thatcher; one son, Bret Thatcher, four daughters, Kym Perrella, Sheryl Smith, Tonja Thatcher-Shawyer, and Nikki Mason; nine grandchildren, Ashley Thatcher, Garrett and Kyle Perrella, Derrick and Brittany Smith, Cassaundra Shawyer, Toni and Brandon D'Angelo, and Jake Mason; two brothers, John Nailler and Bill Fouty; one sister, Becky Gregory; borthers-in-law, Frank Corbin and Tom Corbin; sister-in-law, Susan Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends 6-8pm, Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home of Martinsburg, WV.
The funeral services were held at 11am, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Tuscarora Presbyterian Church with the Rev Rachel Crumley officiating.
Burial was made in the Church Cemetery.
