Mrs. Cobb was born in Pulaski County on June 10, 1862, and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 3 PM, in the Midway Baptist Church with Rev, Lanier Beasley, pastor, officiating.
The church choir sang sacred selections. Serving as pallbearers Ernest Earn, Russell Ross, Thurman Ross, J.T. Cobb, James Manning and Bobby Mullis.
Survivors include two sons, Raleigh Cobb of Eastman and J.J. Cobb of Empire; two daughters, Mrs. Lessie C. Earn of Byron and Mrs. Donna C. Ross of Eastman; 35 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Cobb family Cemetery with Stokes -Southerland Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
