Frank Jones, whose home was at 36 Summit street, Fairport, died in the General Hospital, Rochester, on Friday night after a brief illness, aged 40. He was a son of the late Henry Jones and was born in Mendon. In 1904 he married Miss Lois Stebbins, who survives him, together with a daughter, Esther, and one brother, Harry S. Jones of Honeoye Falls.

Mr. Jones was a member of the Raymond Baptist church, the Baraca class of the Sunday school, and was always active in the work of the church. He was also a member of the Fairport lodge of Red Men, in which he had held the offices of sachem and keeper of records. He had lived in Fairport the greater part of his life.

The funeral was held from his late home on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. C. H. Colegrove officiating, with interment in the Pittsford cemetery. The service at the grave was in charge of the Red Men, the lodge attending the funeral in a body. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their deep sorrow.
