Peter P. Arbore was born Nov. 10, 1918, of McChesneytown, a son of Peter and May (Simms) Arbore.
Peter married Margaret Danko, and they became the parents of two daughters.
Peter worked for Teledyne Vasco Company before his retirement.
He was a member of the BPOE No. 907 and the Latrobe Senior Center. He had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Latrobe.
At the age of 91, Peter P. Arbore, of Latrobe, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in Green Meadows Assisted Living. Peter was a wonderful man, a great father, a great grandfather, who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Besides his parents, Peter was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Danko) Arbore; a daughter, Paula Binder; four brothers, Anthony, Joseph, John and Charles Arbore; three sisters, Mary Rau, Margaret Kuhn and Ann Shanefelt.
He was survived by his daughter, Carol Sweigard and husband, George, of Acme; four grandchildren, Kerri Schott and husband, Edward, Jenny Sweigard, Christina and Amanda Connelly and her husband, Chris; sister, Florence Adams, of Latrobe; two special nieces, Cindy Tierno and Mary Flemming; and other numerous nieces and nephews.
