Mt. Savage, MD, Feb 27, Mrs. Gertrude Lewis.
Mrs. Gertrude Lewis, aged 33 years, wife of Allan Lewis, died at her home on Calla Hill, yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, following an illness of several years. Besides her husband, who is a merchant of this place, she is survived by four small children, Celine, Bertha, John and Allen; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Black of Six Mile Run, PA; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Shaw, of Hustontown, PA; Mrs. Alice Knipper of Three Springs, PA; Mrs Minnie Burns of Warrior Marks, PA; three half brothers, Arthur, Paul and Glover Black and three half sisters, Rhoda, Mildred and Jane Black of Three Springs, PA.
The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services at the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Wm. Lewis pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Methodist Cemetery.
