Anthony Alan Head was born on November 15, 1970 in Milwaulkie, OR. In his youth, Tony enjoyed being apart of the Boy Scouts where he went on to earn his Eagle Scout badge. Later in life he would take his knowledge from the Boy Scouts and become a Boy Scout leader himself. Nothing pleased Tony more than being able to share his knowledge and love of nature to others, especially his grandchildren. Tony worked for the National Park Services in the Everglades, FL for a period of time, but his love for travel lead him to the open road. In his early 20's he became an independent truck driver. He became a active member of OOIDA (Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association). He later went to work for Edward Brothers Trucking Company. During his time here, many positive things happened in his life. He found his soul mate and best friend Rosemary Vieau. They shared a love for travel and visiting National Parks all across the United States. He also earned his commemorative One Million Miles pin from OOIDA. Tony enjoyed ten years with Edward Bros. He worked for a short time with Knight Trucking Company, but found that he was a better fit for Idaho Milk Trucking in 2006. He enjoyed working for them until his passing on February 5th, 2014.When Tony wasn't working, he still enjoyed being on the open road and often took his family on many road trips across the U.S. visiting as many National Parks and scenic sights he could fit into his short periods home. But he loved nothing more than coming home to his four legged best friend Missy and Rose's home cooking.
Tony is survived by his Aunt, Joan Hollen of Washington, his significant other Rosemary Vieau, their dog Missy and Rosemary's children Bonnie (Eric) Rounds of Williston ND, Jim (Rachel) Goga of Pocatello ID, and Chris (Christina) Goga of Riverside CA, along with 7 grandchildren.
