Benjamin (Ben) Leider, 75, currently of Rockford and formerly of Evanston, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2009.
Ben was a naval veteran prior to working and retiring from Northern Illinois Gas/NICOR after 42 years of service.
Loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn, son, Dan (Nan), daughter, Susan (Carlos) Molina; grandchildren, Megan and Sean Leider and sisters, Angeline, Marian and Marcella.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Frank, Suzanne, Evelyn and Eugene.
