Angie D. (Phillips) Gagner, 70, of 350 ½ Winthrop Street died Saturday shortly after arrival at Morton Hospital following a long illness. She was the wife of Edward W. Gagner. She was a housewife most f her life, but also worked for a short while at the Taunton Dog Track and at the Mansfield Chocolate Factory. In her youth, she was employed at the former Mount Hope Finishing Company of Dighton. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Born in Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Costa) Phillips.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Anthony (Janet) Gray and Debra A. Gagner, both of Taunton; two brothers, George Phillips of Raynham and Eugene Phillips of Taunton; three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Roderick of North Dighton, Mrs. Annie Hall of Raynham, and Mrs. Alice Pantazoules of Taunton; and several nephews and nieces.
