Born in Danbury, Phil was a son of the late Panama and Cora Gouveia Danise. He attended Sacred Heart School in Danbury and was a graduate of Bethel High School. A Bethel resident for over 50 years, Phil worked with his son, Damion, and brother, Richard, in the construction industry retiring in 2003.
An avid collector of classic cars, Phil enjoyed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and the outdoors. He enjoyed photography and browsing flea markets.
Besides his wife of 20 years, survivors include his sons: Damion (Holly) of Bethel, CT and Thomas (Kimberly) Brunelli of Lebanon, CT. His daughters: Deanna (Chris) Hales of Plymouth, CT and Laurie (Rob) DeFeo of Oakville, CT. His bother: Richard (Barbara) Danise of Bethlehem, CT. His sisters: Linda (Nick) Zaccaro of North Carolina and Christine (Scott) Haskell of Washington. His beloved grandchildren: Lindsay, Garrett, Cameryn, Kylie, Kayla, Alexandra, Jillian and Tommy. He will be sadly missed by his canine companion, Sassy.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
