Dr. Daniel R. Bennett, 28, a physcian for the Northern Pacific railroad company in Livingston, Mont., died Tuesday evening at the hospital in Livingston.
He is the son of Mrs. Katherine Reilly Bennett, a former resident of Brainerd. His father Dr. F. A. Bennett preceded him in death.
At the time of his death, he was president of the Livingston junior chamber of commerce and a member of the Rotary club.
Surviving him besides his mother are a sister, Mrs. Howard Laug [sic], of Benson and his grandfather, M. J. Reilly, of Detroit Mich. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 24 May 1944, p. 2)

Funeral services for Dr. Daniel R. Bennett, who died Tuesday in Livingston, Mont., will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Francis church, with the Rev. Thomas Scott officiating.
