Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Jane Odom, 74, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Gipson Funeral Home chapel. Interment was in Knight Cemetery with Rev. Coy John Key officiating.

Mrs. Odom passed away suddenly in the residence of her son, Alvin Odom, in Beaumont early Monday morning.

Mrs. Odom was born Oct. 9, 1875 in Lufkin and had resided here all of her life. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
* Husband - J. L. Odom
* Son - Alvin Odom
* Brothers - Louie Nesbitt and G. B. Nesbitt
* Sister - Sudie Elliott
5 grandchildren
