Paul Levenduski, 95, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at his home. Born June 21, 1918, in Baumertown (Tyler), Pa., he was the son of the late Paul Joseph and Gertrude (Buskirk) Lovenduski. Paul was a 1932 graduate of Weedville High School in Weedville, Pa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, serving during World War II. Paul retired from Fairchild Aircraft in 1982 after 41 years of service as a die maker. He was a member of Church of God international office in Cleveland, Tenn. He enjoyed the outdoors and deer hunting. He also enjoyed planting vegetable gardens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Sarah Virginia (McClure) Levenduski, who died in 2008; and two brothers, Joseph and George Levenduski. Paul is survived by two daughters, Deltah Levenduski of Hagerstown, and Gula Raley and husband, Jerry, of Cleveland; a granddaughter, Leslie (Raley) Weathers and husband, Luke, of Cleveland; a great-grandson, Drake Weathers of Cleveland; a sister, Gula Watkavitch of Weedville; a brother, Tom Levenduski and wife, Anna May, of Penfield, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at noon at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Jonathan Laye officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
