Margielee Adams McLamb, 83, of 277 McLamb Road, Benson, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Cornerstone Nursing Center, Dunn. She was born Feb. 18, 1930, in Johnston County to the late Charlie and Bettie Lee Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland McLamb; and a son, Tony R. McLamb. Mrs. McLamb was a homemaker, worked at Block Industries and was a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel, Benson, by the Rev. Glenn Fell. Burial will follow at Banner Chapel Church Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Kathy M. Jones and husband David of Newton Grove, Kendra M. Raynor and husband Brian of Benson; brother, Glenn Adams of Benson; granddaughters, Kellie Blackmon and husband Robert, and Briana Raynor; great-grandson, Riley Blackmon; and several nieces and nephews.
