Funeral of Mount Tabor Woman to Be Held Today.
Mrs. Mary Lewton, well-known Mount Tabor woman, died yesterday morning at her home, 108 East Sixtieth street, at the age of 73 years. Mrs. Lewton was born in Illinois in 1843, and came to Oregon 16 years ago. Surviving her are five children; Mrs. Adele Godfrey, of Seattle; Emma R. Lewton and Norman M. Lewton, of Portland; James D. Lewton, of Forest Grove, and Theodore G. Lewton, of Seattle. She was the widow of the late James T Lewton.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 o'clock from the Mont Tabor Methodist Church, Rev. E.L. Eldridge and Rev. W.T. Kerr officiating. Interment will be in Mount Scott Cemetery.
