Deanna passed a way suddenly of a brief illness on july 29,2009, she leaves behind her loving husband an childhood sweetheart of 25 years, Trent Campbell an their two children daugther Angela Campbell(Ray Hopkins,son-inlaw),son Aaron Campbell, an granddaugther Amya Hopkins and grandson Elijah Hopkins all of Laytonville.
Surviving her are her parents Wynema(Sue) Sloan & Gene(Bill)Sloan,sisters are Melody an Tammy Sloan,and Tonya Rodriguez all of laytonville,and one brother Angel Miller.
preceding her in death is sister Renne Sloan.
also leaving behind numerous nieces & nephews,cousins an many aunts and uncles to mention by name but she loved them all an could even tell you a story about each of them.
Deanna was very proud of her native american heritage an was even selected by state of california indian education as parent of the year and serving as a liaison between the cahto tribe and Laytonville Unified School District.
she loved helping others, her life an the people in her life but most importantly of all she loved her family.
She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.
